Introduction

My name is Gia Huan Ho (nickname: Bruce) and I have been working as a professional Software Developer/Engineer for over 2 years. I studied computer science at York University and I worked in a large data company, Equifax in the financial industry.

Technical Profile

A full-stack developer with the emphasis on designing and developing scalable systems with backend frameworks and language. I can also support front-end development with strong foundation skillsets. At my latest work, Java and Spring Boot would be my familiar choices for backend development; whereas in front-end technicals, my team utilizes Angular for building the web applications.

Resposibilities

During my work, I worked closely with the team on designing new features for existing applications as well as systems for new initiatives, communicating with partners for technical supports, supporting debugging and resolving client’s incidents as well as participating in performance testing to satisfy SLO.

Projects

1. one-math-game - One Math Game is a game on web that I made on Glitch using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The ideal purpose of the game is to boost your focus in the early morning by solving quick maths. With the Glitch policy changes, I will look to other alternative to host the site for everyone to try out. See the demo
2. LTXP Frontend: Frontend UI for Laptop Specs Price using React. The purpose of this project is to make a more reliable and appealing UI that would connect to the Django backend server.
